However, it was not a tornado.
I am no expert, just a spotter (the experts ruled it not a tornado), but I think it was a downburst, as opposed to a wall cloud.
Everything fell to the West from a East-moving storm.

I'd also like to note the quick response of S.A.V.E.S., the Borough, McSherrystown P.D. and MetEd.
Numerous downed wires were secure within minutes, roads were cordoned off within an hour, long before it started getting dark.
All told, much of the problems were solved within six hours.
